How do I place an order?

How soon will I get a response?

I will respond to your order email in less than 24 hours. If I am out of town the response may take a little longer.

Do you have a shopping cart?

At the moment we do not. Most of the items at gianani.com are genuinely one-of-a-kind –- that means that only one piece exists for each design. Once that piece sells the quantity for that item number becomes 0. We are searching for a satisfactory shopping cart that can smoothly and conveniently handle the transaction of such one-of-a-kind items. We expect to introduce such a shopping cart service in the near future.

If there is no shopping cart how do I know if an item is still available?

Please email us. We try our very best to update the website as soon as an item sells by putting a SOLD sign next to the item. But there is a possibility that an item still appearing on the website may already have sold. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact me about the availability of an item of jewelry. Thank you.

Can I pay with credit card?

Yes, you most certainly can – via Paypal Email Payment Service.

It works in 5 easy steps:-

1) Place an email order for the item(s) you wish to buy.

2) Indicate that you wish to pay with credit card

3) I will have Paypal send you an email invoice

4) With one click get transferred to Paypal's own secured site

5) Pay instantly with the credit card of your choice

Steps 4 and 5 will take under 3 minutes to complete and you pay without disclosing your credit card information to me.

Do I need to have a Paypal account in order to pay with credit card via Paypal?

No you do not! That is the convenience of paying through Paypal.

What if I want to pay with a personal check or money order?

No problem. Please send me an email order and I'll send you your order total due and mailing address for gianani. You then mail me your check or money order.

What is your shipping policy within USA?

If you purchase any one item of jewelry -- one pair of earrings, one bracelet, or one pendant -- a shipping cost of $5 (for USPS Priority Mail) will be added to your order total.

However, if you purchase two or more items of jewelry (in any combination of pairs of earring, bracelets, and pendants) shipping within USA is FREE!

How soon will you ship my orders?

If you paid with credit card your order will ship between 24 and 48 hours once Paypal notifies me about your payment, which is usually the same day you make the payment.

If you paid with money order your order will ship out to you the next business day I receive your money order.

If you paid with a personal check your order will ship out to you once the check clears the bank, which may take more than 2 weeks.

How will you ship my order?

All orders sent to a US address are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation -- wherever this service is available.

You will receive an email notifying you that your order has shipped and providing you with a delivery confirmation number for you to track your package with convenience.

Is there a sales tax?

Yes. For Missouri residents appropriate sales tax will be added to your order.

Do you ship international?

Absolutely provided the country you are ordering from has no restriction on shipping jewelry to that country.

How do I pay you if I am ordering from outside the USA?

At this time for international orders I accept only credit card payment via Paypal Email Payment Service through exactly the same procedure described above (See “Can I pay with credit card?”)

How do you ship international orders?

All international orders are sent via USPS First Class international.

How can I get free shipping for international orders?

If your order total is 275 USD or greater your shipping cost is FREE.

Do you accept returns?

Certainly! I want you to be completely happy with your purchase at gianani. So if you are not fully satisfied with what you bought please send the item(s) back for a full refund – minus any shipping cost you paid.

How long can I wait before returning an item?

Please mail back all returned items within 15 days of receiving the jewelry. For instance, if you received your order on May 1^st, your return package should be postmarked no later than May 15^th.

How do I return the jewelry I ordered?

Please follow these 4 steps to return the item(s):-

1) Email me (within 15 days of receiving the jewelry) indicating which item(s) you wish to return -- please clearly mention the item number(s). I will respond by sending (or re-sending) you the gianani mailing address.

2) Pack the jewelry securely – the pouch and the box in which you received the jewelry may be used.

3) Please use a secured mailing service – USPS Priority Mail, USPS Certified Mail or UPS – to return the package

4) Please pay the cost of shipping for returned items

Please understand that I will not be able to issue a refund if the item you returned arrived damaged in any manner, or if the items you returned get lost in the mail

So please pack the jewelry carefully and securely and use a secured mailing service to ship back to me the returned items.

How and when will you issue my refund?

If you paid with a credit card via Paypal Email Payment Service your refund will be issued to your credit card within 24 to 48 hours after I receive the returned items.

If you paid with money order or personal check a money order of the refund amount will be mailed to you within 3 business days after I receive the returned jewelry.

Please note that shipping cost (if you paid any when purchasing the jewelry) will not be returned.

Do you do custom orders?

Sorry no, for two reasons.

Most items at gianani are literally one-of-a-kind, meaning that only one piece of jewelry – one pair of earrings, one bracelet, one hand painted wood pendant – exists for each design. Each item of such jewelry you buy from me will be uniquely yours. In order to maintain the integrity of the design and to honor my guarantee of one-of-a-kind jewelry to you, I will be unable to repeat a design. But I add new designs almost every month and I do hope that you will find something uniquely yours from my current collection.

Also I find that I am at my creative best when I let the designs come to me. I feel seriously creatively blocked when repeating designs or creating something according to instructions.
